Rochester kicks off May 5 Finest Folk First Fridays in collaboration with our Crossroads neighbors Folk Alliance International and the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation with a bang! We have an evening of fun and live music planned at various locations throughout the neighborhood.
Rochester: Kasey Rausch and Kristin Hamilton
Wednesday night regulars Kasey Rausch and Kristin Hamilton will perform a split set at Rochester’s Crossroads location at:
First Set: 5:15-6 p.m.
Second Set: 6:45-7:30 p.m.
Kasey and Kristin are singer/songwriters whose soulful voices harmonize beautifully together. They sound particularly resonant in the Crossroad’s excellent acoustical space.
It’s a Crossroads Neighborhood Party!
In between Rochester’s music sets, you can wander over and catch Casii Stephan, at 5:45 p.m. It’s just around the corner at Folk Alliance International, 601 Avenida Cesar E Chavez. Casii is a soul-pop/rock singer-songwriter who will be performing an intimate, listening room-style concert series at FAI’s office. Ticket and event details are located here.
And throughout the day and evening, there’s lots of fun happening at the Party Under the I-35 Bridge! Music, food, vendors and a car show top the list of activities there. These events are hosted by the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation.
This event is a collaboration between Rochester Brewing and Roasting, Folk Alliance International and the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation. Music partially funded through a grant provided by the Missouri Arts Council. And our First Friday’s artist, Jeff Bulcock, will be displaying his watercolor artwork at Rochester as well.
