Live Music
Our friends at the Folk Alliance International are hosting True Lions from 6-7 p.m. in an intimate tiny desk concert setting at their offices, 601 Avenida Cesar E Chavez, Kansas City, MO 64108. We will be on hand as well, serving free Rochester beer and coffee samples.
Beer + Art
Afterwards, we hope you’ll join us at Rochester Crossroads for more beer and the opening show for our First Fridays artist Hubbard Savage. Hubbard Savage is a Kansas City based artist who primarily focuses on creating figurative acrylic paintings on canvas. Inspired by unconventional music, film, and literature, his art pays homage to the artist’s artist.
Savage has exhibited work with the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Thornhill Gallery, Bunker Center for the Arts, Beco, Smalter Gallery, and Van der Plas Gallery in New York City. His artwork has been acquired by notable collectors, including Tom’s Town Distilling Company and Kevin Morby. His art has found a home in numerous private collections across the globe. Food + Fun
Our other Crossroads neighbor, the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation, will be hosting a party nearby. There will be more music, food trucks and fun under the I-35 Bridge all evening long.
