Rochester’s head coffee roaster, Philip, is committed to working directly with the farmers in the country of origin to find the best quality coffee beans possible for Rochester coffee. That means our community of coffee lovers goes far beyond Kansas City and even the United States. Our goal is to travel to the different countries where Rochester’s coffee beans are grown to build relationships with the farmers and support sustainable and ethical practices for them, their families and the land. 

To ensure quality is retained throughout the process, Philip roasts Rochester coffee in small batches so our customers always enjoy the freshest beans possible. With those fresh beans, our talented team of baristas create a full slate of espresso and coffee-based drinks. In fact, Rochester’s talented team of baristas help create our seasonal drinks menu, fostering their creativity to provide truly unique and memorable beverages for our community. In addition to lattes and other coffee beverages, coffee purists can enjoy freshly made pour overs of all Rochester’s current roasts.

We also sell whole beans so you can enjoy that delicious Rochester coffee at home! And if coffee isn’t your thing, that’s OK too because we offer some excellent non-coffee options, like tea, matcha, herbal infusions and more. We want everyone to feel comfortable here and know that they have a place at the table.
