First Friday New Artist: Jeff Bulcock
We are delighted to welcome local artist Jeff Bulcock’s work to our space for First Fridays. Jeff relocated to the Kansas City area in 1974 with his parents and siblings and has called KC home ever since. He started a remodeling business, Twin Oaks Remodeling, in 1989 and still works there to this day.
A Start in Art
With a love for creative endeavors, he has pursued painting with watercolors, something he has wanted to do for years. The pause caused by the Covid pandemic allowed Jeff the time to explore his art. As a self-taught artist, he is still honing his technique, experimenting with subjects and themes. He has recently emphasized nature and nautical themes as subject matter.
Jeff’s First Art Show
With encouragement from family and friends, he is showing his art for the first time here at Rochester. When Jeff isn’t dabbling with watercolors or working, he enjoys playing guitar and song writing. His artistic inspiration comes from his love of life and his wife Pam, two children and four grandchildren that keep him young at heart.
At Rochester, we are happy to support local artists like First Friday New Artist: Jeff Bulcock to our space.
