As the mercury drops outside, warm up with Rochester Brewing and Roasting’s new winter seasonals. We have some returning favorites as well as some exciting new flavors for winter seasonals that are sure to tempt you, crafted by our creative team.
Coffee + Tea Winter Seasonals
- SPICED ORANGE COLD BREW: cold brew + infused spiced orange cold foam
House-made oat milk cold foam is infused with sweet oranges, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and a whisper of vanilla. It tops Rochester’s rich cold brew like a sugarplum snowdrift.
- SMOCHA (I hardly knowa): Lapsang Souchong tea + honey + maple syrup + chocolate + steamed milk
This warming, sweet and slightly smoky tea latte is reminiscent of holidays of yore. It feels like a circle of friends singing carols in front of a crackling bonfire.
- RYE TOFFEE LATTE: rye whiskey + toffee + espresso + milk
Buttery and sweet toffee is balanced with the gentle warmth of whiskey (cooked down to remove the alcohol). You’ll want to curl up in front of the fireplace with this one.
- COOKIE BUTTER LATTE: cookie butter + brown sugar + cinnamon + espresso + milk
This comforting latte will wrap you in its warm embrace and rekindle your inner child. You might even find yourself searching the winter skies for Santa or listening for the sound of reindeer hooves on Christmas Eve.
- BANANAS FOSTER LATTE: banana + rum flavoring + espresso + milk
We’ve taken an exotic twist with this beverage, inspired by the classic elegance of the world-famous flambéd dessert.
- Pomegranate Mocha LATTE: mocha + pomegranate + vanilla + espresso + milk
According to myth, Greek goddess Persephone’s love of pomegranate seeds brought about the cold, dark winter months. Once you taste this drink, we think you’ll forgive her.
- CRANBERRY PALMER (iced only): rainer mint tea + cranberry juice + vanilla
Our popular Palmer gets a holiday makeover with this sparkling version that’s the beverage equivalent of your favorite party dress.
Winter Seasonals: Cocktails
- CURRANT AFFAIR: gin + fruitful apricot liquor + lemon juice + vanilla simple syrup + black currant syrup + bitters + soda water + fresh nutmeg
Aromatic botanicals balance perfectly with sweet black currant and vanilla with just a hint of citrus brightness. One sip whisks you away to a snowy path through a forest of scented pines.
- CINNAMON SPIKED HOT COCOA: house-made cocoa + Restless Spirits cinnamon-infused whiskey
With sweet cocoa and spicy cinnamon, this adult version of a winter favorite will warm you up all the way to your toes!
- Cranberry Smash: whiskey + cranberry juice + rosemary simple + lemon juice + frosted cranberries
Union Horse Rolling Standard aged whiskey blend is balanced with sweet and tart flavors and a hint of rosemary. This festive treat will delight your senses and make you want another round.
In addition to our winter seasonals coffee and tea menu, we are tapping new beers every week. Check out our brewery’s tap list here and be sure to stop by our Crossroads or Parkville coffee shop and brewery to discover your new favorite.
Cheers!
